Skincare Haul

If you read my Avene Soothing Hydrating Serum review, then you would know that I have been recently trying to change up my skincare routine as I'm really not happy with my skin at the moment. So a couple of weeks ago (yes, this post is super late... I have been without a laptop) I decided to take a trip into Boots to pick up a few new items. I only bought a couple of things as I hate to change too much of my routine at once incase something doesn't work for me, and I'm left having to decide which out of a bazillion new products I need to stop using. And yes, that is a total exaggeration as I actually don't use that many products.

I have been on the search for a new eye cream for a few months now. I have tried a couple of different ones in the past but I am still on the search for the perfect eye cream. So when I saw the Super Facialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Dark Circles Eye Cream was on offer for £8.99 I decided to give it ago. It claims to help with dark circles which, due to one too many late nights, I have been having issues with a lot lately.

Next up is another Super Facialist by Una Brennan product, this time a mask. I have read so many great reviews for the Tea Flower Pore Purifying Clay Mask and I have been meaning to try it for months but just never got around to buying it, so I figured that while I was buying the eye cream I may as well buy this. It is supposed to help remove all of the dirt and toxins from your skin therefore helping to prevent breakouts.

The final product I bought is an old holy grail product that I am sure most of you have heard of. The Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser was my favourite cleanser when I was in my first two years of uni and none of the cleansers I have tried since have managed to take its place. I wasn't originally intending to buy this, as I still have a lot of my Lancome cleanser left, but the shopohlic in me took over and before I knew it, it was being scanned through at the checkouts!

Have you bought any new skincare items lately?
